Elena Climov, FNP-C, IFMCP
Hello, I’m Elena!
I’m a nurse practitioner, Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) Certified Practitioner, infertility warrior, and a proud boy mom.
As a functional medicine practitioner, I’ve seen the profound impact that a root-cause approach can have on improving quality of life. I am passionate about providing personalized, holistic care to help individuals optimize their health, focusing on hormone balance, weight management, and longevity.
I strive to offer a supportive, compassionate environment where each person’s unique health journey is respected and guided by evidence-based, integrative practices. My mission is to help individuals achieve their healthiest, most vibrant lives through functional medicine.
My Story
My journey began in conventional medicine in 2016, where I worked in trauma care and surgical oncology (breast surgery), saving lives within a reactive healthcare model.
However, I realized that conventional medicine often focuses on treating disease after it develops, neglecting prevention and deeper healing.
This realization became deeply personal when my firstborn son became seriously ill at just 9 months old. Despite seeing multiple pediatric specialists, no one could provide answers, only medications to mask his symptoms.
That wasn’t enough for me. I was determined to find the root cause of his illness, which led me to the transformative world of functional medicine. I pursued intensive training through the gold standard of training in Functional Medicine and am proud to be an Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) Certified Practitioner.
My Approach
With advanced training in functional medicine, I take a whole-person approach to care, focusing on understanding each patient’s unique story.
My method for addressing health challenges is highly personalized, combining the science of epigenetics, lifestyle optimization, and targeted nutrition and supplementation to help individuals achieve optimal health, vitality, and fertility.
I meet patients where they are, creating tailored treatment plans that consider individual circumstances, including life challenges, finances, and physical limitations.
Every patient is unique, and so are my recommendations. Together, we’ll develop a plan designed specifically for you, empowering you to take charge of your health and achieve your wellness goals. I enjoy using holistic care to offer the best outcomes using lifestyle medicine principles and prescription medication when needed.
